LOCAL PAINTING CLASSES:

BJORKLUNDEN WORKSHOPS:
In beautiful Green Lake, Wisconsin.

For any two-dimension medium, whether oils, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, graphite, or pen-and-ink. Classes are kept to 12 people or less, which allows for individual attention to beginners and experienced artists alike.

Whereas the struggle for your vision and style is yours, I make sure you get to where you want to go, whether it is realism, impressionism, or abstract art. I give you knowledge about the elements of art and how to execute it.

  • Summer Sessions: from mid-June to mid-August $110
  • Fall Sessions: from late-September to mid-December $110
  • Winter Sessions: from January to mid-spring (depending on snow dates). $110
  • Special Five-Week Spring Session: mid-April to May. $55

GREEN LAKE WORKSHOP:

Students stay in a large home on beautiful Green Lake in Wisconsin where we will paint in the studio, on the grounds and the greater Green Lake area for plein air painting. This workshops is for intermediate to advanced artists.

MEXICO WORKSHOP:

I have also taught workshops in Mexico for over 15 years.  In the past, we have gone to San Miguel de Allande and Cape Ha on the Atlantic Side of the Yucatan Peninsula.  Stay tuned for future workshops.
Located near Baily's Harbor in Door County, this 425 acres of pristine land on Lake Michigan is owned by Lawrence University.
Classes are held in a large beautiful lodge were we also eat and sleep.

Geared for intermediate to advanced students, we will spend our time either in the studio painting. In the warm months we have the option to go out into the landscape to do plein air work as part of excursions into extraordinary landscapes in Door County.
